Next Gen Escapes is operated by Tāiki e! Charitable Trust (referred to in this form as “Tāiki e!”, “we” or “us”). Please read the terms and conditions below prior to making your booking. By making your booking you confirm you reviewed and understand the below terms and conditions.
We have taken all reasonable precautions to minimise risk to players health and safety while participating in our escape room. The door to the room will remain unlocked at all times allowing players to safely leave the room at any point or during an emergency. Communication with a staff member is also available at all times.
Players under the age of 15 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
You are required to follow all written and verbal instructions provided by our staff prior to, and during the gameplay. Please notify our staff if you become aware of any hazard which may compromise the safety of yourself or others during the gameplay.
We do not accept any liability for you (or anybody in your group) suffering an injury or distress whilst playing our escape room. If you have any medical condition that you think may interfere with your ability to participate please discuss it with one of our staff members prior to entering the room.
We have a firm policy that intoxicated people will not be admitted into our escape room. Food and drinks are not allowed to be taken into our escape room. Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the premises.
None of our puzzles require physical force or moving/ climbing on any furniture. You are not required to pick locks or open locks without the correct code. We reserve the right to end the game at any time if you do not abide by the rules and safety briefing, or if you or a member of your group is deliberately or recklessly causing damage to our room or props, or if you are a danger to yourself or others. No refund will be given.
You will be responsible for reimbursing us for any damaged caused to our room including props, furniture, equipment and puzzles. Photos or videos inside the room are not permitted. Please don’t disclose information or spoilers to anyone who has not played our escape room.
Cancellations prior to 24 hours a booking can receive a full refund (less booking fees) or reschedule a booking time. A refund is not possible within 24 hours of the game. No-shows or refusal-of-entry are deemed to be a cancellation. Vouchers can not be cancelled or redeemed for cash or credit.
It is important that you arrive on time for your booking, to ensure you have the maximum time to make your escape. Please do not arrive early, or late.
You consent to the use of video surveillance for the use of assistance within the experience, safety instructions or to make claims when necessary of damages to the property or facilities.
You fully indemnify Next Gen Escapes against all claims, liabilities, costs, damages, fees and expenses (including reasonable legal costs) suffered or incurred at any time by Next Gen Escapes arising as a direct or indirect result of any act, omission or default on your part or from any breach or alleged breach of these terms by you or relating to an action or claim brought by a third party against Next Gen Escapes which relates directly or indirectly to your use of the services. The parties agree that this indemnity shall in no way apply to any liability to pay a fine or an infringement fee imposed under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015.
